When will book three be out?

We're actually doing the final edits to Jaguar Stones, Book 3 at this very moment!

It will be called The River of No Return, and it will be on sale in summer 2012. There will be a sneak peek of Chapter One in the paperback of Book 2, on sale in February 2012.

Where can I buy the books?

Book one MIDDLEWORLD, and Book Two, THE END OF THE WORLD CLUB, are available through most bookstores. If your local bookstore doesn't have it in stock, they should be able to order a copy for you. Is San Xavier a real place?

San Xavier is a fictional country based on present-day Belize. We chose Belize, because almost everyone there speaks English. Many people also speak a Maya language and/or Spanish.

What do the yellow butterflies mean?

Many cultures identify butterflies with the spirits of the dead and, in MIddleworld, the yellow butterflies are the souls of the ancestors who help Max and Lola in their fight against evil. If you ever go to the Yucatan, you are almost sure to see a cloud of Orange Yellow Sulphur butterflies  - they're one of the most common and most beautiful butterflies of Central America.
